A Ribfest is a professional barbecue competition that has expanded itself across North America and has branded itself as one of the largest events that travel from city to city to raise money for charity. It is commonly held in a large park-like setting and includes live entertainment, local business owners, specialty vendors and children’s entertainment.

The Yarmouth Ribfest is FREE for everyone to enjoy. The Yarmouth Ground Search & Rescue will be collecting $2 per vehicle to park on the grounds. This is a donation to this amazing group of volunteers. At the gate of Ribfest, we do encourage all guests to donate. All proceeds from this event go back into the community through the work of the Rotary Club.

Food prices for each vendor and ribber are controlled by each individually. You will pay for your food at their station when you order. As such, pricing will be posted by each ribber or vendor separately on their menus. An ATM will be available for your convenience.

Yes, the grounds will be a licensed area and it will be permitted as a restaurant, meaning your children can accompany you until 8:30 pm nightly.

No, we ask that you support the vendors on site. For safety purposes, bag inspection will be conducted at the gate. No personal water bottles (even sealed), coffee cups, or equivalent will be allowed you will be asked to return these items to your vehicle or leave them at the front gate with security staff.

Absolutely – this is a family event with both entertainment and vendors directed at serving children’s interests.

Please leave your pet at home. The organizers, vendors, sponsors and staff wish to thank you in advance for leaving your pets at home when you visit this year’s Yarmouth Rotary Ribfest. In an effort to maintain a safe, clean, and fun-filled family atmosphere, pets will not be able to enjoy Ribfest firsthand. On duty service dogs are welcome.

Lost items will be turned in to the Ribfest Office located at the rear of the Mariners Centre. Items will be held until Sunday July 9th at close (7pm), when they will then be turned over to the Mariners Centre box office.

At the 2022 Ribfest, all sauces were gluten free. We encourage you to ask each vendor on site if you have any allergy concerns.

Yes! Live music will be on the main stage each day.
